Women’s Ministries 2010
Going along with our church’s mission statement for 2010, it is my desire for the women of Oak Street Baptist to “Please Jesus and Make a Difference in His Name.” We hope to accomplish this through encouragement, prayer, sharing each other’s burdens, and reaching out to the lost and hurting women in and around our community. Committing everything to God, we are excited about what He is going to do through us this year.
Throughout the year, our ladies group meets for times of fellowship and mutual encouragement designed to bring about spiritual growth and a joyful spirit. Some important dates to remember in 2010 are:
“A Spring Thing” Luncheon – Saturday, March 13
Mother/Daughter/Sister/Friend Banquet - Saturday, May 8
Women’s Fall Retreat – (Date to be determined)
Christmas Ornament Exchange – December 11
